Women in Business at Rolls-Royce Mayfair
Last week, we swapped Black Barn Farm for the buzz of the capital and headed to London after being invited to a Women in Business event at Rolls-Royce Motor Cars London in Mayfair - and what an experience it was.
As a Norfolk-based business, it’s not often we step outside our little bubble and into rooms filled with so many inspiring, driven women. The energy in the showroom was incredible - ambitious, creative and supportive - exactly the kind of atmosphere we love to be around.
We connected with some truly inspirational people, shared stories, ideas and lots of laughs… and yes, there was quite a bit of champagne involved too...
First Time Trying Caviar…
We tried caviar for the very first time - and we have to say, it was delicious. A very “Mayfair moment” for us. We weren’t quite sure what to expect, but it definitely exceeded expectations.
The Cars… INSANE.
Seeing the cars up close was something else entirely. One in particular had bespoke artwork designed directly onto the leather seats - the craftsmanship was unbelievable.
What fascinated us most was learning how a Rolls-Royce is created. From choosing the exact stitching, to selecting the leather colour, carpet finish, piping, veneers and every tiny added extra - everything is completely bespoke. The attention to detail is on another level.
A Little Luxury Inspiration
We also tried some beautiful products from La Prairie - pure luxury skincare - and met more like-minded people who share a passion for quality, craftsmanship and beautiful design.
The whole evening was a reminder that stepping outside your comfort zone and saying “yes” to opportunities can open new doors and spark fresh ideas.
Back to Norfolk…
And now? Back to Norfolk we go.
No, we are not buying a Rolls-Royce for the works vehicle (sadly). We’ll stick to the van - loading boxes, delivering furniture and keeping our feet firmly on the ground. Glamour is lovely… but so is graft.
One day? Maybe. You never know.
For now, we’re bringing all that inspiration, creativity and confidence back home with us to Norfolk Luxury Lifestyle - ready to keep building, growing and dreaming a little bigger.
