From London to Norfolk: Stepping Outside Our Comfort Zone

At Norfolk Luxury Lifestyle, we’re always looking for ways to grow, learn, and bring fresh inspiration back to our shop and our community.

This week, we travelled to London as guest speakers at Ecom Collab Club, hosted by the lovely Adam Pearce. We spoke about growing customer acquisition and shared our journey of building Norfolk Luxury Lifestyle - something we were genuinely nervous about, but so glad we said yes to!

We were joined by some brilliant fellow speakers, including Peter from Slick Gorilla and Georgia from Healthy Habits, and it was inspiring to be surrounded by so many like‑minded business owners. Stepping outside our comfort zone pushed us to think differently, connect with new people, and come away with exciting ideas we can’t wait to bring back to Norfolk.

January can often be a quieter month in retail, but we truly believe it’s the perfect time to invest in growth - learning new skills, building relationships, and getting your name out there. Experiences like this remind us why trying new things is so important, and it’s definitely something we’d love to do more of.

While in London, we also went live with Chris Reeves from Reeve Social Media, chatting about our shop in Norfolk, the importance of supporting small and local businesses, and how much stronger we all are when we support one another. There were plenty of laughs along the way too - including Katie declaring that I’m the bossy one… which I’ll neither confirm nor deny! 😉 You can find the link here.

Back in the shop, we’ve returned full of inspiration - and it shows. We have beautiful new statement pieces now in store, from sculptural décor and handmade vases to occasional chairs and gorgeous table lamps.
